1. We were at the staff parking lot near the science buildings.
2. Had problems with getting the blur and the driver in clearness.
3. This was da best beacuse it captured the driver in clearness with blur too.
4. I tried using higher shutter speeds.
5. Something that could be improved would be that to try and get the whole golf cart.
1. We were in front of the school, out near the stoplights of the school.
2. I had problems with the fact that since the cars were moving kinda of fast to keep up with the car and the panning.
3. This was da best because it captured the car with the wheels spinning but keeps the actual car pretty crisp.
4. Before taking this picture i had tried using a higher ISO to make it brighter and I also used a faster shutter speed.
5. Something that could be improved would be to try and capture the vehicle a little better by panning a little better.
1.We took this picture out behind the 200 building down the hallway.
2.Some problems i had were that the background would be in focus and the two runners would be blurred out.
3.This was da best because I was able to capture one of the runners in focus and the other one is blurred out.
4. Before taking this picture I had tried using a faster shutter speed but it just made the picture not blurred.
5. Something that could be improved would be to get his feet not as blurred out as they are.
1. We took this picture out behind the 200 building.
2.Some problems I had before taking this picture was the shutter speed would be too high and blow out the picture.
3. This was da best because it shows him running in clearness.
4. Before taking this picture I had tried using a lower shutter speed to lessen the brightness.
5. Something that could be improved with this picture would be to try and add a little more blur to the picture.
1. We took this picture behind the 200 building with the other pictures.
2. Some problems I had before hand was that the picture wouldnt have any blur or the picutre would be too dark.
3. This was da best because it captures him walking in motion, and makes it look faster that he actually is.
4. Prior to taking this picture I had tried using a faster shutter speed and a higher ISO to put more light in the picture.
5. Something that could be improved with this picture would be to try and improve the lighting in the photo.

Shutter Speed Excersises
2: Prior to getting this shot we had a problem with proper lighting and angles.
3: Is was the best because we caught spider girl jumping at the right moment in the middle of the air.
4: We tried with slower and faster shutter speeds and the ISO, well slower shutter speeds were too blurry and ISO didnt make the lighting any better.
5: An improvement that could be made would be to not cut off his head and not dead center.
1: We were near the tennins courts and bungalows when taking this picture.
2: We had problems with background distractions and proper lighting.
3: This was the best because they are in the air while running and is completely stopped.
4: We tried using a lower shutter speed, but it was too blurry because they were too fast.
5: An improvement that could be made is removing the guy in the background and the buildings too.
1: We were behind the 200 building near the bushes.
2: We had problems with lighting because it was dark out and background distractions.
3: This was the best shot for this category because when looking at the the picture you can see each individual droplet from the falling water.
4: Prior to getting this shot we used a high ISO to make up for the darkness but it had too much digital noise.
5: One thing that could be improved is that we decrease the amount of distractions and not make it in the center next time.
1: We were right oustide the door of the 200 building.
2: Before getting the shot we had problems with lighting because it was cloudy.
3: This was the best because she was walking fast and using a decreased shutter speed it gave her a fast and furious look.
4: Before getting this shot we used a low shutter speed and higher ISO but this just made the picture have a lot of digital noise.
5: An improvement on this picture could be removing the trees in the background.
1: We were out behind the 200 Building on the bluff overlooking the street.
2: Prior to getting this shot we had an issue with using too high of a shutter speed and not achieving enough blur.
3: This was the best representation because everything else is still but the cars are totally blurred out and gives the sense of fast motion from the cars.
4: Prior to getting this shot we tried using faster shutter speeds, and messing with the ISO since it was dark outside.
5: Something that could be improved would be to try and cut out the houses in the background.

Framing
Man-Made:
I think this photo works because the frames of the sun-glasses are man-made and they frame the focal point of the picture which is the flower. It also has a sense of depth with the blur in the background.
This photo works because the pot it is inside frames the VW symbol inside, and also the dots lead your eye to look towards the symbol.
Natural:
This photo works because the V-shape of the tree branches frame the skater(me) while I'm doing a toe side check down the hill.
This photo works because the tree branches also in this picture put your focus mainly on the VW symbol sitting in the tree, and also the blurred tree branch in the foreground gives it depth.
Architectural:
This photo works as a architectural photo because the pipe attached to the building frames the bush very well and leads your eye straight towards to it. Plus also the light compliments the picture well.
This picture works well because the hole in the gate frames the subject very well and draws your eye straight towards the subject which is the person in the picture.
Explanation:
The most challenging part of the this assignment was trying to distinguish the differences of different types of frames used on pictures.

Patterns
Man-Made
I think this photo works as a man-made photo pattern because the metal grate is made out metal which is man-made but has a diagonal pattern that heads out of the picture making it more interesting.
This picture also works in the way that the rusted notches on this man-hole head towards the middle, and the water also adds more texture in the image.
Natural
This picture works for a natural shot because of the fact that the repeating textures of the tree run up the whole tree. This was taken at an angle from just straight up, which makes the tree look giant.
This picture works in the sense that it has repeating leaves throughout the whole shot of the picture. This picture was take up close to the leaves which gives it a sense of dept and field.
Improve:
This picture is something I need to improve on in the way that the horizon line is tilted and shouldn't be so it is something I need to fix.
Well:
This is a picture of something I do well on because this picture is crisp and not blurry and catches the drops of water on the leaves really well.
Goals:
For the next assignment in this class I want to try and get every picture as crisp as the one above and have at least ten more photos that what is required for that day.

Angles
Above:
Below:
This photo is my strongest one because I effectively used rule of thirds and leading lines all in this one photo plus the detail in the pole is pretty cool.
Straight On:
Photo-composition:
This is the one photo I feel that uses two elements of photo-composition. It uses leading lines and also frame the picture. And it does well to the picture in the way that it frames the seahorse and the bike rack bars lead you eyes to the subject the horse.
Improve:
For this particular picture next time i would like to possibly not be too close to the subject so it isn't blurry but so that also the background leads up to the subject at the same time.
The most challenging element of this assignment was probably get different shots of the same subject without taking a picture of the same background over and over again. And also making sure that you got all possible angles of the one subject.

Diagonals
Horizontals
The picture to the right is an example of naturally
occurring lines because it is a shadow leading up
to the leave which is the main eye catcher.
Verticals
This photo is a example of architectural lines in my shot because its part of a bungalow. Some techniques I used were trying to place the wooden pieces using the rule of thirds. This gave the photo a more interesting view.
This photo is my strongest photo of all the others because the view of the yellow pole leading up to the blue sky gives it a vast space look.
